PTE Core, the Pearson Test of English is now officially accepted and authorized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Express Entry Programs.
What is the PTE Core?
PTE Core is a computer based English test that evaluates general reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills in single test.

- Fee for test: CAD $275 (Including taxes)
- Risk of Bias is decreased by combination of human expertise and AI scoring
- The test is to be attempted at a test center, and is completely computer based test

- Validity period: Test scores are valid for 2 years from the date of test result. They must still be valid on the day the application for permanent residency is submitted
- The Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) will be used to determine the language proficiency level
- The test results will be used to determine the CLB level for each ability

Note: The main applicant for the Federal Skilled Worker Program must meet the minimum level for all four skills listed in the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7.
However, depending on the client’s profile, the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 and points required to qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program will vary.

The PTE (Academic) can be used for both immigration and study overseas. The governments of Australia and New Zealand accept PTE (Academic) test scores for immigration. Various Universities across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe also accept PTE (Academic) test scores.

PTE Mock Test Free
PTE mock tests help assess your ability to attempt the examination. Along with PTE coaching, Radhe also allows the competitors to test their abilities with the help of free mock tests. Before the PTE exam, competitors can review mock tests to assess their skills in each section. The duration of the PTE exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes. Practice with the mock test to succeed in the PTE exam with a maximum score.
PTE Score
PTE score ranges from 10 to 90. No particular passing score is there for the PTE exam. But a 65 to 75 score is considered a good PTE score by international universities. Some of the universities also consider a score between 50 to 63. Based on the admitting university, the scores will be considered.

Based on the global scaling, the PTE score chart ranges from 10 to 90.

With a PTE score ranging from 50 to 59, you will be admitted to universities with low English proficiency requirements. Your PTE score should be above 65 to get admission to the best universities.
PTE Score Validity
Your PTE score is valid for 2 years from the date you took the exam. After completing 2 years, you cannot access your score.
PTE Registration Process
Step 1: Visit the PTE official website.

Step 6: Pay the PTE registration fees.
Step 7: Click on the Register/Apply button.

What is the Eligibility for the PTE Test?
Candidates meeting the following eligibility criteria can appear for the PTE test.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must have completed your secondary education
- If you are under 18, you must provide the parent consent letter
- There is no upper age limit or qualification for PTE exam.
- Also, there is no limit on the number of attempts.
PTE Requirements
To appear for the PTE exam, you must be 16 years old, and there is no maximum age limit. If you are under the age limit of 18 years, you must submit the parent consent letter.
Regarding the PTE score requirements, you should score above 65 points to get shortlisted for admission to the best university.
PTE Test Fees
The PTE Fee for PTE Academic and PTE academic online will be ₹17,000, including taxes. While registering for the exam, you have to pay the registration fee. You can also pay the fee before 2 days of the exam date.
If you pay the fee within 48 hours of the exam date, you are supposed to pay the late booking fee and the actual fee.
